Pocket rechargeable torch Fenix PD25R offers light output of up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and beam distance of up to 250 metres. It is powered by a rechargeable RCR123A battery (included in the packaging), which charges directly in the torch via a USB-C connector located on the side. The charging port is covered with a screw-on cap, so it is perfectly protected against water and dirt. The battery can be replaced in an emergency with a disposable CR123A battery. The torch uses a premium Luminus SST-20 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The torch head is fitted with a tactical switch for quick on and off, and power modes are switched with a second button on the side. The torch has six lighting modes, including a strobe flash. In the lowest mode it will run for up to 70 hours. Thanks to its weight of only 78 grammes, the torch can be carried with you at all times (EDC) for everyday use, at work and during sport.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use

• An insulation cover may be present on the battery inside the torch from the factory.
• Remove it from the battery before first use.
• To switch on, press the tactical switch located at the end of the torch; to activate immediately, hold the button down.
• When the torch is on, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button at the torch head.
• To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds.
• Charging: Unscrew the protective cap under the torch head and connect it using the included USB-C cable to a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter (not included in the packaging). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED in the button glows red; when fully charged, it glows green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the torch can be recharged at any time. During charging, the torch can only be switched on in the lowest mode by holding the side button for 0.5 seconds.
• Intelligent overheat protection – if the torch temperature rises above 60 °C, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps.
• Battery charge status indication – each time the torch is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button activates for three seconds.
  • If the indicator LED glows green, the battery is charged to more than 85%.
  • Green flashing means 50–85% capacity.

  • ed flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains. (only works when using Li-ion RCR123A / 16340 battery).

• Low battery warning – the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode, and in the lowest mode the indicator LED in the button will flash red. This indicates the need to charge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.

Warning

Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty. Use only quality CR123A or RCR123A batteries. If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.

If the torch is flashing, not switching to higher power modes, or not switching on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• Battery is almost discharged – charge the battery or replace it.
• Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
• The rear of the torch is loose – tighten it.
