Powerful compact torch Fenix PD26R ACE will dazzle you with a light output of up to 1300 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 354 metres. This excellent light output is delivered by a premium white LED Luminus SFT-25R. Power comes from a Li-ion rechargeable battery 18350 with a capacity of 1600 mAh (included in the packaging), which charges conveniently directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector. The torch is programmable, so you can easily preset the number of modes you want to use. Fenix PD26R ACE offers up to seven different lighting modes, so you can always select the optimal combination of power and runtime. In the lowest mode, runtime can reach an incredible 556 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. For emergency situations, the SOS and strobe modes are invaluable. Thanks to digital regulation, the torch provides constant light output even as the rechargeable battery gradually discharges. PD26R ACE impresses not only with its compact dimensions and excellent power, but also with the body design that prevents rolling and slipping in your hand. It is therefore an ideal choice for duty, for all outdoor enthusiasts and works perfectly for everyday use as well.
All torch parameters (light output, runtime on battery, waterproofness, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use
From the factory there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the rechargeable battery. Before first use, remove it from the rechargeable battery.
To turn on, press the tactical switch at the end of the torch, for momentary activation just press it lightly. By pressing the side button at the head of the torch, you can at any time during operation cycle through the constant lighting modes. To switch to strobe, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. If you have selected Setting 3 (outdoor activities), pressing it again will then activate SOS. By holding the side button again, you will return to the constant lighting modes. The number of modes you can cycle through depends on your chosen mode preset, for example strobe can be completely deactivated (see below).
Setting mode presets - The SET function offers a choice of three lighting mode presets, which are listed in the following table.
-
Loosen the nut under the torch head to reveal the hidden SET switch.
-
With the light on, pressing the SET switch cycles through: Setting 1 - tactical mode (Turbo mode only) → Setting 2 - duty mode (3 modes) → Setting 3 - outdoor activities (5 modes). When the torch is first turned on, Setting 3 is selected from the factory.
-
After selecting the desired preset, the corresponding indicator next to the SET button will light up green for 3 seconds as confirmation of the selection. This indication also indicates the current number of available modes for that Setting.
| Mode presets | Eco | Low | Medium | High | Turbo | Strobe | SOS |
| Power | 1 lm | 30 lm | 100 lm | 350 lm | 1300 lm | 1300 lm | 30 lm |

Note:
-
Users can independently activate or deactivate the strobe mode option. In the default setting it is activated in all presets.
-
The number of modes for each lighting preset is listed without Strobe and SOS.
Activating and deactivating Strobe mode - With the light on, hold the hidden SET switch for 1.2 seconds to activate/deactivate Strobe mode in all mode presets. The torch will flash twice to confirm the selection.
Memory for the last set power mode - The torch remembers the last power mode used within the active preset. When turned on again, it will activate in this mode (does not apply to Strobe and SOS).
Battery replacement - Unscrew the end cap of the torch and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the reflector. Then screw the end cap back on fully.
Charging
-
Unscrew the protective nut under the torch head to reveal the charging port and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. After charging is complete, screw the nut back on.
-
During charging, the indicator in the side button lights up red, and turns green when fully charged. During charging, you can turn the torch on and off by holding the side switch. The end switch is not functional during charging.
-
The typical charging time for a fully discharged ARB-L18-1600 battery is approximately 2 hours.
Battery charge status indication - Each time the torch is turned on, the indicator LED in the side button activates for three seconds. If the indicator LED lights up green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains. Note: Only works with Fenix 18350 type batteries.
Intelligent overheat protection - If the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the power will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning - If the voltage drops below the set level, the torch will reduce brightness to a lower level. After reaching the lowest power level, the battery charge status indicator will start flashing red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
Warning
- Do not disassemble sealed parts in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Keep the torch out of reach of children.
- Do not shine the torch directly into your own eyes or anyone else's eyes.
- Loosen the end cap by half a turn or remove the batteries to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- Use only the original protected 18350 Li-ion rechargeable battery.
- If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
- If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are almost discharged – charge the rechargeable battery or replace it.
- Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The head, body or rear of the torch are loose – apply lubricant to the sealing O-rings and tighten both the head and the end of the torch firmly.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the torch, two-year warranty on the rechargeable battery.
