Rechargeable tactical torch Fenix PD35R delivers a light output of up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of 353 metres. Excellent light performance has been achieved using the LED Luminus SFT-40. The torch is powered by a Li-ion 18650 3400 mAh rechargeable battery (included in the package), which charges directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector. The Fenix PD35R LED torch uses a dual tactical switch, which enables faster and more reliable operation in emergency situations. For example, you can readily activate it directly into strobe mode. The torch head is fitted with an impact bezel. This means the torch can be used to break glass in emergency situations or for self-defence. The Fenix PD35R features six lighting modes, which allow you to choose between high power and long runtime, which reaches up to 100 hours. One of the lighting modes is also a strobe with variable frequency. Robust construction and compatibility with the Fenix AER-02 cable switch allows the torch to be used on long weapons, making it suitable not only for outdoor and airsoft enthusiasts, but also for professionals, armed forces and hunting.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix PD35R torch
From the factory, there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.
To switch on/off, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the torch; to activate immediately, hold the button. By pressing the side mode switch button, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode while the torch is on, hold the mode switch button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch on the torch directly into strobe mode from off, press and hold the mode switch button.

Intelligent overheat protection - if the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will automatically reduce. Once the temperature drops below 60 °C, maximum power can be used again.

Battery charge status indication - the torch always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates sufficient charge (100% - 85%), green flashing 85% - 50%, steady red light indicates 50% - 25% and flashing red means critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is depleted, the torch will gradually automatically switch to lower power modes, and in the lowest mode it will flash 3 times every five minutes.

Charging - flip open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the torch and connect the included cable (USB-C connector); connect the other end of the cable to a computer, USB adapter to the mains or car. During charging, the side indicator lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Charging a fully depleted battery takes approximately 3 hours. The torch cannot be used during charging.

Low battery warning - the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode.
Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only quality 18650 Li-ion batteries or 3V CR123A batteries to avoid damaging the torch.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch is flashing, not switching to higher modes or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is almost depleted – charge the battery or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
  • The head, body or tail cap of the torch are loose - apply lubricant to the sealing O-rings and tighten both the head and tail cap firmly.
