Fenix ARB-L16-1050UP is a premium rechargeable Li-ion battery in RCR123A (16340) size with massive capacity of 1050 mAh and built-in USB-C charging connector.

The main advantage is charging versatility. You can charge the battery by connecting a cable directly to its USB-C port (for example with a mobile phone charger or from a computer), in a conventional external charger, or directly in compatible torches. It is an ideal solution especially for models that do not have their own charging port, such as Fenix GL06, Fenix GL07 or Fenix GL22. It also works well as a replacement rechargeable battery for Fenix E18R V2.0, Fenix HM50R V2.0, Fenix HM51R V3.0, Fenix PD25R and others. Thanks to modern Li-ion technology, it does not suffer from memory effect and has minimal self-discharge, so it is always ready for use.

Fenix ARB-L16-1050UP is among the safest Li-ion rechargeable batteries on the market thanks to dual-stage protection:

1. Electronic protection: Integrated circuits at the positive pole protect the battery against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuit and excessive current draw. If limit values are exceeded, the electronics safely disconnect the cell.
2. Mechanical protection: Inside the battery there is a separator, overheat protection (PTC) and a special anti-explosion valve.

In size it corresponds to the RCR123A standard and serves as a rechargeable alternative to disposable CR123A batteries. Before purchase, however, check compatibility: this rechargeable battery has a higher nominal voltage (3.6 V) compared to disposable batteries (3 V).

It is also suitable for older models: Fenix HM51R (including V2.0), Fenix E15 XP-G2, Fenix E16, Fenix RC09, CL09, Fenix PD22 Ultimate Edition, Fenix PD25, Fenix E18 and LD15R.

WARNING – do not use in older models: Fenix E15 (does not apply to XP-G2 version), PD10, PD12, PD20, PD22 (does not apply to Ultimate Edition) and HL50. The higher voltage could damage their electronics!

Charging options

The rechargeable battery fully replaces older Fenix ARB-L16-700U, ARB-L16-700UP, ARB-L16-800UP types. You can charge it:

• Via USB-C connector: Connect a USB cable to the side connector. During charging, the indicator light on the top glows red; when fully charged, it turns blue. A completely discharged rechargeable battery will charge in approximately 2.5 hours.
• In a torch or head torch: The rechargeable battery can also be charged inside compatible charging torches.
• In a conventional charger: You can use standard chargers for 3.6/3.7V Li-ion rechargeable batteries.
