Operation:
With the torch switched off, press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to switch on to the last used standard power mode (General mode). With the torch switched off, press the switch twice quickly to switch on to the 5 lumens emergency mode (Extreme mode). You can switch between power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button within the selected mode group. With the torch switched on, press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to switch off.
Battery charge status indication – press the torch button (with the torch switched off). If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains.
Low battery warning - the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator in the button will start flashing red.
Charging - Remove the dust cover cap and connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port. After charging is complete, replace the dust cover cap. During charging, the indicator in the button lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Do not charge the torch in an explosive atmosphere. When charging, use the supplied USB charging adapter to ensure safety.
To replace the battery, unscrew the torch end cap using an 8 mm hex key. Never replace the battery in an explosive atmosphere.
Warning
- Perform all servicing, charging and battery replacement outside explosive atmospheres!
- Use only the manufacturer-certified Fenix rechargeable battery.
- If the sealing rubber O-ring on the torch end cap thread is damaged, replace it with the spare from the torch packaging.
- If the torch is flashing, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, this may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is discharged; charge it or replace it.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the torch, two-year warranty on the battery.
