Powerful tactical torch Fenix TK17 offers top-tier light output of up to 3600 lumens (ANSI) and beam distance of up to 330 metres. The torch is powered by a single Li-ion rechargeable battery type 21700 with 6000 mAh capacity and USB-C connector and power bank function, so you can charge your phone or other electronics in an emergency. The rechargeable battery provides power for up to 60 hours of operation. Very solid and waterproof construction makes this tactical torch ideal for harsh outdoor conditions, for professionals, armed forces and hunting. The Fenix TK17 LED torch uses a dual tactical switch, which allows faster and more reliable control in emergency situations. You can, for example, quickly activate strobe mode directly or maximum power. The torch head is fitted with an impact bezel made of stainless steel, which is additionally equipped with three tungsten tips. This allows the torch to be used effectively to break glass in emergency situations or for self-defence.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix TK17 torch operation

From the factory there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the rechargeable battery. Remove it from the rechargeable battery before first use.

To switch on, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the torch; for instant activation, press the button fully. By pressing the side switch button you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode while the torch is on, hold the switch button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch the torch on directly in strobe mode, press and hold the switch button. BURST mode (3600 lumens) can also be activated at any time by holding the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds.

Intelligent thermal protection – because the torch reaches high power of 3600 lumens, it experiences a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C, power will automatically increase again.

Rechargeable battery charge indication – Switch on the torch with either button for less than one second, then the battery charge indicator next to the switch will light up for 3 seconds. If the torch remains on longer, the indicator will not activate. If the indicator LED glows green, the battery is charged above 85%. Green flashing means 50–85% capacity. If it glows red, it is charged at 25–50%. Red flashing indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.

Low battery warning – the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest power mode; if already in the lowest mode, it will flash 3 times every five minutes.

Charging

• Remove the rechargeable battery from the torch and connect the USB-C cable to the connector at the positive pole of the rechargeable battery.
• During charging, three blue indicators on the rechargeable battery light up progressively. As soon as all three indicators remain lit continuously, the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
• Charging time for a completely discharged rechargeable battery is approximately 4 hours with a 5 V / 2 A USB adapter.

Warning

• Use only quality rechargeable batteries type 21700 with protective electronics.
• Do not shine on flammable objects from close range, as you may damage them or cause fire due to high temperature.
• Remove the rechargeable battery or loosen the end cap to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport in an enclosed space.
• Keep this torch out of reach of children and do not shine directly into anyone's eyes.
• Insert the rechargeable battery with the positive pole facing the torch head.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • Rechargeable battery is discharged – charge it or replace it.
  • Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
  • Torch head, body or rear section are loose – tighten them.
