Fenix TK05R is a pocket-sized rechargeable tactical torch with simple operation, featuring quick strobe activation and output of up to 1000 lumens. It is fitted with a top-class LED Osram CSLPM1.TG, which provides excellent beam focus and a beam distance of up to 450 metres. The torch uses a dual tactical switch, which allows faster and more reliable operation in emergency situations. The torch head is equipped with a striking bezel, so the torch can be used to break glass or for self-defence. Robust construction allows use on long weapons, making it suitable for professionals, armed forces and hunting. The torch is powered by a single compact Li-ion 18350 1100 mAh rechargeable battery (included in the package), which charges directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector and provides power for up to 14.5 hours of operation. Solid and waterproof design makes this tactical torch primarily suitable for harsh outdoor conditions and for use in security forces, search operations, rescue missions and hunting.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

TK05R torch operation

From the factory, there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the battery. Before first use, remove it from the battery.

To turn on/off, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the torch; to activate instantly, hold the button down. By pressing the side mode switch button, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode while the torch is on, hold the mode switch button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To turn the torch on directly in strobe mode, press and hold the mode switch button.

Intelligent overheat protection – because the torch reaches high output, it experiences a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 55°C, the output will automatically reduce. Once the temperature drops below 55°C, maximum output can be used again.

Battery charge status indication – the torch always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates sufficient charge (100% – 85%), green flashing 85% – 50%, steady red 50% – 25% and flashing red critically low battery (25% – 1%). If the battery is depleted, the torch will gradually automatically switch to lower power modes.

Charging – flip open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the torch and connect the supplied cable (USB-C connector); connect the other end of the cable to a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter. During charging, the side indicator lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Charging a fully depleted battery takes approximately 1.5 hours. The torch cannot be used during charging.

Warning

• Use only quality rechargeable 18350 batteries with protective electronics.
• Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the torch head.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • Battery is depleted – charge it or replace it.
  • Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
  • Torch head, body or rear section are loose – tighten them.
