Fenix TK21R torch operation

From the factory, there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the battery. Before first use, remove it from the battery.

To switch on, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the torch; for instant activation, press the button gently and hold. By pressing the side mode switch button, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode while the torch is on, hold the mode switch button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch the torch on directly in strobe mode, press and hold the mode switch button. BURST mode (3600 lumens) can also be activated at any time by holding the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds.

Memory of last activated mode - The torch has memory and will always switch on in the last set mode, except for strobe.

Battery replacement - Unscrew the torch tail cap and insert the battery with the positive pole facing inwards. Then screw the tail cap back on fully.

Charging - Loosen the protective nut under the torch head to reveal the charging port and connect the USB-C charging cable to the torch charging connector. After charging is complete, tighten the nut again. Using a powerful 9 V/3 A USB power source, a fully discharged battery will charge in 1.5 hours; using a 5 V/3 A USB power source, it will charge in 2.5 hours. The torch cannot be used during charging. The indicator light is red during charging. When fully charged, it turns green. If charging fails or the battery is inserted incorrectly, the indicator flashes red or does not light up at all.

Intelligent thermal protection - because the torch achieves enormous power of 3600 lumens, it experiences a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 55°C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 55°C, the power automatically increases again.

Battery charge indication - Each time the torch is switched on (except strobe), the battery charge indicator opposite the charging connector lights up for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Low battery warning - the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest power mode, or if already in the lowest power mode, it will flash 3 times every five minutes.

• Use only quality rechargeable batteries type 21700 with protective electronics.
• Do not shine on flammable objects from close range, as you may damage them or cause a fire due to high temperature.
• Remove the battery or loosen the tail cap to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport in an enclosed space.
• Keep this torch out of reach of children and do not shine it directly into anyone's eyes.
• Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the torch head.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is discharged - charge it or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
  • The head, body or rear of the torch are loose, tighten them.
