Fenix TK28R is an extra-powerful torch from the TK series and will provide you with light output of up to 6500 lumens (ANSI) and the ability to cut through darkness at a distance of up to 400 metres. Behind this impressive power stands a unique combination of wide and long-range reflectors with two powerful Luminus SST-70 and SFT-70 LEDs. In addition to dazzling white light, the TK28R is also equipped with powerful red light with output of up to 260 lumens. Power is supplied by a pair of robust 18650 rechargeable batteries, each with a capacity of 4000 mAh (included in the package), which you can conveniently charge directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector. Control is intuitive and lightning-fast thanks to a tactical switch and innovative switching lever FlexiSensa control. This allows not only locking the torch against accidental activation, but also selection between white and red light. Need maximum runtime? On the lowest mode, the TK28R will shine for up to 102 hours. A flat design thanks to the rectangular head and batteries stored side by side ensures that the torch does not get in the way in your pocket, on your belt or in your rucksack, fits perfectly in your palm and allows a firm grip. Its robust, waterproof construction (IP68) is designed to withstand even the toughest conditions, from downpours to extreme deployment. Whether you are a member of security forces, participate in rescue missions, engage in hunting or are looking for an uncompromising companion for your outdoor adventures, the Fenix TK28R is ready to exceed your expectations.
All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, waterproofing, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix TK28R torch
From the factory, there may be an insulating cover on the batteries. Before first use, remove it.
Using the rotary control FlexiSensa Control at the end of the torch, you can select the desired lighting mode: white light – locked – red light.
Turning on/off - When the torch is unlocked, to turn on press the main tactical button at the end of the torch, for instant activation press the button lightly.
Switching power modes and strobe - By pressing the secondary function button you can at any time during operation switch between power modes of the selected light colour. The maximum mode of 6500 lumens can be activated directly at any time when the torch is unlocked by holding the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds. To switch to strobe when the torch is on, hold the switching button for 0.5 seconds. To turn on the torch directly in strobe mode, press and hold the switching button.
Lock/off mode - When the torch is on, in any state rotate the rotary switch to lock/off mode to turn off and lock the torch. Pressing the buttons will then not turn on the torch.
Memory of last set mode - The torch has memory and will always turn on in the last set mode, except for strobe.
Battery replacement - Unscrew the torch head and insert the batteries with poles according to the markings. Then screw the head back on and secure it.
Charging - Slide the charging port cover at the end of the torch, then connect the USB-C charging cable to the torch. The indicator in the switching button lights red during charging and turns green when fully charged. If charging fails or the batteries are inserted backwards, the battery status indicator will flash red or remain off to alert the user to check the batteries. When using a powerful 9 V/3 A USB source (27 W), completely discharged batteries will charge in approximately 1.5 hours, when using a 5 V/3 A USB source (15 W) they will charge in approximately 3 hours.
Battery charge status indication - Each time the torch is turned on, the indicator LED in the switching button activates for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains.
Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the torch will reduce brightness to a lower level. After reaching the lowest power, the battery status indicator will begin to flash red slowly to remind users to charge or replace the battery in time.
Intelligent overheat protection - If the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the power will gradually increase again.
Warning
- Do not disassemble sealed parts of the torch yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Keep the torch out of reach of children.
- Do not shine the torch directly into your own or anyone else's eyes.
- Never use different discharged batteries or batteries with different capacities.
- Lock the torch or loosen the body by a few turns to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
- If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are almost discharged – replace them.
- Contacts inside the torch or battery holder are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The torch body is loose – apply lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the torch, two-year warranty on the batteries.
