Fenix WF25RM is a professional duty torch that offers exceptional technical specifications for demanding users. It combines reliability, high performance and versatile use. It is equipped with white light with peak output of up to 3000 lumens and ultraviolet light at 356 nm with output of up to 500 mW. Ultraviolet light allows, for example, rapid verification of document and banknote authenticity or detection of fluid leaks. Power is supplied by a Li-ion rechargeable battery of type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which charges directly in the torch via the supplied charging dock with USB cable. The torch simply clicks into the dock for charging. The dock is fitted with mounting holes, so it can be screwed to a wall or table, for example. The charging cable can be disconnected from the dock and the torch can be charged outside of it. The torch is additionally equipped with a USB-C connector on the rechargeable battery itself, so it can be easily charged without the charging dock.

Fenix WF25RM has a total of five white light modes with runtime of up to 77 hours and one UV light mode. Control is via a button ergonomically positioned on the side. The head is fitted with an integrated carabiner for attachment. The torch has a built-in safety circuit. When switched to one of the two highest white light modes and the reflector is brought within less than 1 cm of the illuminated object, it automatically reduces power to low mode to prevent possible damage.

Excellent technical specifications, waterproof and impact-resistant design make this torch ideal for use in harsh outdoor conditions. During duty, it will be particularly appreciated by police officers, firefighters, rescue workers and mountain rescue services. Using the Fenix WF25RM torch

From the factory, there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the rechargeable battery. Before first use, remove it.

To switch on/off, press the button located on the side of the torch for approximately 0.5 seconds. By pressing the button briefly, you can switch between power modes 30 – 150 – 400 – 1000 lumens at any time during operation. The highest BURST mode of 3000 lumens can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds. When released, the torch will switch back to the mode from which you activated the highest power. UV light is activated by double-clicking from the off state.

UV light activation indicator - when UV light is on, the indicator in the side button flashes alternately red and green as a warning that invisible ultraviolet light is active. If the battery is almost depleted, the indicator flashes red only.

Intelligent proximity sensor - the torch has a built-in safety circuit. When switched to one of the two highest white light modes and the reflector is brought within less than 1 cm of the illuminated object, it automatically reduces power to low mode to prevent damage to the object from intense light and glare from reflected light. The function is not active for UV light.

Proximity sensor on/off - to disable the function, loosen the battery cover of the torch, then press the side button and tighten the head again. Disabling the function is indicated by the torch flashing three times. Replacing the battery will automatically reactivate this function.

Charging - click the torch connector into the dock. Alternatively, if you have disconnected the charging cable from the dock, attach the magnetic connector of the charging cable to the connector on the torch. Plug the other end of the cable into a computer, USB mains adapter or car adapter. During charging, the side indicator lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Charging a fully depleted rechargeable battery takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes when using a 3A power source. The torch cannot be used during charging. The rechargeable battery can also be charged outside the torch using the integrated USB-C connector - connect the USB-C cable to the side connector next to the positive pole, during charging the indicator light at the positive pole of the rechargeable battery lights red. When fully charged, it lights blue or green.

Intelligent overheat protection - because the torch achieves high power output, it experiences a temperature rise. If the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the power will gradually increase again.

Rechargeable battery charge status indicator - the torch always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates sufficient charge (100% - 85%), green flashing 85% - 50%, steady red light 50% - 25% and flashing red indicates critically depleted rechargeable battery (25% - 1%). If the rechargeable battery is depleted, the torch will begin to gradually automatically switch to lower power modes. After reaching the lowest power mode, the battery charge status indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only quality Li-ion 21700 rechargeable batteries with protective electronics.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The rechargeable battery is depleted, charge it.
  • The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
  • The torch head is loose, tighten it.
