Damascus steel with a DROP POINT blade. Damascus steel is nowadays manufactured by repeatedly forging, folding and re-forging several strips of steels with different properties, creating a characteristic pattern with dozens of layers. This steel remains sharp for a long time thanks to the combination of materials.

Maintenance:

The knife is a cutting tool and not a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel, tin snips or tin opener. It is not intended for throwing, prying or chopping.
For sharpening the knife, use only a sharpening stone. The knife is made from stainless steel, but after use dry it and lightly oil it.
Occasionally or during longer periods of non-use, coat the knife with gun oil. This will significantly extend the life and quality of the blade.
