Gerber Bushcraft axe and axe are designed for two fundamental needs, starting a fire and building a shelter. A single-piece axe head with innovative Overstrike Guard damage protection ensures long service life, whilst a rubber-coated handle made from glass fibre-reinforced nylon offers additional safety when handling the axe. The hammer surface on the rear of the axe head is not all this tool offers: a waterproof compartment integrated into the extending handle holds 152 cm (axe) or 274 cm (axe) of paracord, as well as space for a small lighter, fire steel or tinder. Be prepared when survival adventure gets its name! The package also includes a sheath for the axe head.
