Bergen is a compact bushcraft backpack that combines military classic style with modern design.
Construction resistant to intensive use
It withstands frequent packing, the transport of gear and contact with the ground. Helikon-Tex made it from Cordura® 500D, which increases resistance to abrasion and damage. The material is coated with DWR, which limits absorption and makes cleaning easier. It also used YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, which work reliably under heavy loads and in changing temperatures.
Comfortable carrying system
Helikon-Tex equipped the Bergen backpack with comfortable, adjustable and quick-release shoulder straps that let you fit it to your body and layers of clothing. Additional load stabilization, especially during movement, is provided by the sternum strap and the removable hip belt (it improves weight distribution with a heavier load).
Helikon-Tex's bushcraft-experienced specialists equipped the Bergen with functional solutions for carrying essential tools.
They designed it for working with tools, spending extended time in the field and gear that has to withstand more than one season. The well-thought-out interior, functional external pockets and expandability make it easy to adapt the backpack to your style of operation.
3 pass-through pockets
They let you safely carry, for example, an axe and keep it stable while walking.
2 non-pass-through pockets
For a knife, a folding saw or other narrower tools that require quick access.
Attachment webbing on the bottom and flap
It lets you secure a sleeping bag, a jacket or additional equipment.
Helikon-Tex created the interior for working with tools and self-sufficiency in the field.
Drawstring and collar of the main compartment
It secures the contents and lets the compartment volume be adjusted to the load.
Flat zippered pocket
For documents and more valuable small items.
Space for a hydration bladder
A dedicated pocket prepared for a hydration system.
External pockets and expansion options increase the backpack's versatility.
3 external pockets
The middle one has a drawstring, the side ones are for water bottles.
Pocket on the flap
For items you want to reach without opening the backpack.
MOLLE/PALS webbing
It lets the backpack be expanded with additional pockets and medical modules.
The backpack features an additional hook-and-loop panel for personalization.
