The philosophy of bushcraft is to provide a degree of comfort in the wilderness with an axe, a tarpaulin and coffee from a campfire. Being far from civilisation does not mean you have to sacrifice maximum comfort on your back when setting up camp. And that is exactly the comfort the Defender Mk2 Pilgrim Shirt® provides. It is the perfect combination of bushcraft style, versatility and durability. It is made from a slightly heavier but highly breathable fabric, so it will work well for both work and rest in the forest. Importantly, the fabric is as pleasant to the touch as regular flannel, whilst maintaining high technical performance. Thanks to the addition of DuPont™ Sorona® fibre, it prevents unpleasant odours and thanks to a UPF50 rating provides very high protection against UV radiation. It fastens with robust buttons with a subtly embossed Helikon-Tex® inscription. At chest level there are patch pockets with a flap fastening with hook-and-loop fastener and below them further flat pockets with YKK® zips. The Pilgrim model is the most resistant to tearing and damage of the entire range of new Helikon-Tex shirts.
