One belt, the Forester Belt is designed for comfortable carrying of bushcraft items in the forest. A special mounting system on the belt straps keeps everything under control. It complements Helikon-Tex's range of load-carrying systems designed for bushcraft. The Forester Bushcraft Belt has one thing in common with tactical straps: it can be worn on the outer layer of clothing and will easily replace typical outdoor bags or small rucksacks. The Forester Bushcraft Belt works well with: SERE Pouch, Water Canteen Pouch, Compass/Survival Pouch or Survival Water Filter Bag. Together they create a comfortable environment for bushcraft enthusiasts. A belt with a turbulent history The origin of the Forester Bushcraft Belt dates back to the 1950s and the military conflict in Malaysia. At that time, SAS soldiers used nylon straps with clips as tactical belts, which they obtained from straps used to secure cargo dropped by parachute. As time passed smoothly, most British special forces (SAS, SBS), sailors and paratroopers began to use the same solutions. A belt with a cylindrical buckle was much better than other options. It had simple adjustment and adapted to the user's body. More complex was the STABO evacuation system from the Vietnam War and its predecessor, the McGuire system. It consisted of harnesses with a belt made of nylon parachute straps with clip buckles similar to the British ones. Equipment items were attached to the belt: ammunition pouches, water canisters, grenades, etc.
