Quick-release side panels that join the front and back of a plate carrier

The Guardian Cummerbund Quick Release is a set of side panels for a tactical vest that fasten its front and back together. Besides the side panels, the set also includes an extra strap with a buckle mounted on one of the shoulder straps. Both the cummerbund and the shoulder strap have quick-release buckles with anti-slip grips that let you open and drop the vest fast in an emergency. This set also makes putting the vest on more convenient, without having to unfasten the front flap every time. The cummerbund is largely made of structural mesh, which provides extra ventilation even with gear mounted. On the surface of the cummerbund there is a modular system compatible with MOLLE/PALS. Under the webbing of the modular system there is a skeleton panel of Hypalon, which not only stabilizes the gear you carry but also gives the side panel itself the right stiffness.
