Construction resistant to intensive use
Cordura® 500D increases resistance to abrasion and to field use. The material is coated with DWR, which limits absorption and makes cleaning easier. Helikon-Tex also used Woojin® components in the product, which work reliably under heavy loads and in changing temperatures.
A set ready for action
The Guardian Military set is basic equipment for professionals. It consists of three elements: the Guardian Plate Carrier tactical vest, the Guardian Cummerbund and the Guardian Flap front panel. It is available in many colour versions, including camouflages, which makes matching it to a uniform easier.
Fits different plate types
The elastic panel on the inner side of the vest allows plates of various shapes and thicknesses to be seated stably. Size M: 24.1 × 31.75 cm, size L: 26 × 33.65 cm. Depending on the manufacturer, the dimensions of ballistic plates can differ. Helikon-Tex allows a tolerance of about 0.5 cm thanks to the elasticity of the pocket.
Guardian Military is a ready base for action.
Compatibility
The Plate Carrier works with E-Cut (SAPI/ESAPI), Swimmer Cut and Shooter Cut plates in sizes M and L. Helikon-Tex recommends measuring your own plates before purchase so that the vest size is correct and no mistake occurs.
Guardian Flap
It is edged with MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing and has a pocket for three AK/AR magazines.
Guardian Cummerbund
The cummerbund with sewn-on MOLLE/PALS webbing allows additional gear to be mounted and can be swapped for the Quick Release version.
The Guardian system is designed to cover a soldier's full loadout: from belts through plate carriers and chest rigs to backpacks
All components are MOLLE/PALS compatible, which lets you configure and expand the gear for specific missions. Individual elements of the system are also compatible with Helikon-Tex's VIS (Versatile Insert System) and Competition insert systems.
