The Level 7 winter jacket complies with the American ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) and represents the final outer insulation layer for cold weather. Climashield® Apex™ insulation keeps the wearer warm in all conditions. The jacket can be combined with any "lower" (according to ECWCS specifications) clothing layers: base layers 1 and 2, fleece, shells and so on. If it gets wet, it dries immediately. The outer nylon shell allows air circulation, protects against wind and water, and protects the lining from damage. A generous hood is concealed in the collar, with its adjustment hidden in the chest pockets. The hood pocket is accessible via a two-way sliding zip. This is important because when working in low temperatures, you want the ability to work efficiently, often without needing to remove a layer to warm your hands. A soft fleece lining in the collar keeps the wearer comfortable and prevents chafing. Two chest pockets with fleece lining provide hand protection against frostbite. Long zips on the side pockets allow access to the pockets even in thick gloves. The Level 7 jacket can be easily compressed and packed without compromising its properties. The jacket is available in several colours for use in urban and field conditions.
