The Modern Battle Dress Uniform trousers are made for challenges where durability and ergonomics count.
NyCo Ripstop is a fabric proven in combat operations
The fabric combines mechanical resistance with good breathability. Nylon increases resistance to abrasion and tearing, while cotton improves wearing comfort during long operations.
The Ripstop weave reinforces the fabric structure. Thanks to this, any damage to the material does not spread further, which increases product durability.
Freedom of movement thanks to VersaStretch inserts
VersaStretch inserts in the crotch and yoke increase the range of movement during dynamic changes of position.
The breathable structure supports temperature regulation in critical areas, which improves comfort during intense exertion and prolonged activity.
To make access to gear immediate, Helikon-Tex equipped the MBDU with eight pockets.
Hip pockets
Two pockets with reinforced edges for a knife, a multitool, or clip-mounted tools.
Rear pockets
Two, also reinforced, pockets hold rifle magazines or larger EDC items.
Cargo pockets on the thighs
Two roomy pockets fastened with Canadian buttons. Secure and easy to operate even in gloves.
Calf pockets
Two hook-and-loop pockets, ideal for a personal dressing or medical gear.

Adjustable waistband
It lets you adjust the circumference precisely and stabilizes the trousers under load.
Wide belt loops with eyelets
Compatible with belts up to 50 mm. The front eyelets let you secure small gear with a carabiner or cord.
Drawcords at the leg openings
Elastic cords with stoppers let you adjust the trousers to your boots and to field conditions.
Knee reinforcements
They increase durability during frequent kneeling and movement over difficult ground. For better knee protection, the trousers also have space for pads.
