Ratel Mk2 is a versatile tactical backpack for patrols, short missions and everyday use.
Construction resistant to intensive use
It withstands frequent packing, the transport of gear and contact with the ground. Helikon-Tex made it from Cordura® 500D, which increases resistance to abrasion and damage.
The material is coated with DWR, which reduces moisture absorption and makes cleaning easier. It also used YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, which work reliably even under heavy loads and in changing temperatures.
The ergonomic carrying system stabilizes the load
Contoured, adjustable straps
The quick-release construction lets you fit the backpack to your body and equipment.
Sternum strap
It stabilizes the backpack while moving.
Removable hip belt
It helps distribute weight when carrying a heavier load.
Back panel with spacer mesh
It improves airflow and increases carrying comfort.
Helikon-Tex made sure of a functional layout and solutions that improve how well the pack adapts to the user's needs.
The Ratel Mk2 combines the durability of military equipment with the convenience of everyday use. Its compact size, minimalist design and functionality make it equally well suited to field operations and the urban jungle.
Spacious main compartment
It includes a dedicated sleeve for a hydration bladder.
Two front pockets
The upper pocket holds small items that need to remain within reach. The lower pocket includes an organizer for maps, documents and EDC accessories.
MOLLE/PALS webbing
It lets you add pouches, modules or a first-aid kit and adapt the setup to the task.
Compression straps
They reduce the backpack's volume when it is not fully loaded. They can also secure additional gear, such as a sleeping pad.
The backpack features an additional hook-and-loop panel for personalization.
