A stable shelter in various configurations
The Supertarp Small Spark Resistant is a large, universal tarp. Thanks to 19 reinforced attachment points you can pitch it in many ways: as a classic A-frame, as a roof over a hammock, as cover for a work position or as an improvised emergency shelter.
The large 253 × 200 cm size covers one person with gear and just as well makes a shared roof for several people.
Protection in changing conditions
We made the tarp from coated, waterproof nylon at 139 g/m², which forms an effective barrier against precipitation. At the same time it protects from strong sun, creates shade and limits how much the space under it heats up. The fabric resists mechanical damage and brief contact with sparks and small embers. It is not, however, a fire-resistant fabric — prolonged contact with fire can damage it.
Light and easy to carry
Despite its size the Supertarp Small Spark Resistant weighs only 941 g. Folded it takes up little space (30 × 11 × 17 cm) and fits into the included stuff sack. You can pack it into a backpack even after a rainy night and carry it without risking the rest of your gear getting wet.
