Trousers from the Urban Tactical Line® range. Trousers by manufacturer Helikon-Tex give the impression of classic casual trousers. For example, compared to other trouser cuts such as BDU, ACU, SFU™, CPU™ or M-65, they give a very natural and pleasant impression. This is the main advantage of UTP trousers. The trousers contain a number of pockets and feature a quality YKK® zip system (this zip is used in classic trousers). Helikon-Tex manufacturer has not compromised on these trousers either, and has used very quality material suitable even for demanding conditions.
We would also like to highlight the trouser fastening, which is solved with hook-and-loop fastener for better adjustment and adaptation to each person. The trouser material is finished with Rip-Stop for even greater durability.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, manufactured using a special technique. Thicker threads are woven into thin textile at intervals of 5–8 mm. The advantages of ripstop fabrics lie in their very good weight-to-stability ratio and high tear strength.
Ripstop is used for hot air balloons, parachutes, boat sails, tents, rucksacks and sports clothing.
All camouflage clothing of the American Army is currently made from so-called ripstop-poplin (50% polyamide and 50% cotton).
Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War.
