The Wolfhound Hoodie is a light, warm, compact jacket for everyday wear.
Climashield® Apex™ insulation warms even when wet
Unlike down, insulation made of synthetic fibres warms even when wet and does not clump. You can machine wash the jacket. The 67 g/m² insulation is light, efficient, breathable and compresses well. It works as a standalone layer at lower temperatures and as an insulation layer under a hardshell in harsher conditions.
Windpack Nylon protects from wind
A light, fast-drying material that shields from the chilling effect of wind. Thanks to this it improves thermal comfort during a halt and at lower movement intensity.
The outer layer is protected by a water-repellent finish
It increases resistance to dirt and to moisture penetration. Thanks to this the jacket is simpler to care for and keeps its properties longer.
Freedom of movement thanks to VersaStretch
Elastic panels under the arms increase mobility during dynamic activities. The jacket stays in place and does not restrict the body's natural work.
Every detail in the jacket's construction answers a real need of use in the field.
Protection from draughts
The elastic rubberized binding on the cuffs and at the hem helps seal the whole construction.
Ergonomic hood
The adjustable hood with elastic binding protects the head from wind and light rain.
Panel for personalization
The hook-and-loop panel on the arm lets you personalize the jacket: add a flag, a unit emblem or a morale patch.
Helikon-Tex designed the Wolfhound with fast access to everyday gear in mind.
Four pockets close with solid YKK® zippers that secure the contents on the move and at a halt. The pocket layout lets you reach your gear without taking off your backpack.
Side pockets
They are placed so that they also work with a backpack's hip belt.
Internal pocket
A safe place for documents, a wallet or more sensitive accessories.
Chest pocket
For a phone, a small notebook or a map, that is for everything you want within reach.
