Kompas Herbertz Scout Compass je vyrobený s použitím zlatého hliníkového krytu, ktorý poskytuje ochranu pred poškriabaním a zlomením skla kompasu.
Tento kompas je vybavený fosforeskujúcimi prvkami na číselníku, čo umožňuje jednoduchú navigáciu aj v noci. Vnútro kompasu je naplnené nemrznúcou kvapalinou, ktorá absorbuje nárazy. Kompas má kombinované delenie s rozsahom 360 stupňov a 64 riadkov.
