Jack Saloon clear gel doesn’t foam, so you can keep your eyes on the blade throughout the shave. It creates a slippery layer over which both a straight razor and a razor glide smoothly, and it cares for the skin in the meantime.

CONTOURS UNDER CONTROL

Foam hides the line between what should come off and what should stay on your face. The clear gel keeps it visible at all times, so you shave your cheeks, neck and beard edges exactly as planned. It stays on the skin and helps the blade glide without snagging or unnecessary repeat passes.

Gel isn’t foam – you really only need a little. Apply a thin, even layer to a thoroughly wet face – too much gel or almost dry skin will make shaving harder rather than easier. Before a second stroke over the same spot, wet the skin again and add a little gel – dry shaving does your skin no good.

Usage:

First wet your face thoroughly with warm water. Spread the gel in a thin layer, without foam. Then shave in the direction of growth – with a straight razor, shavette or safety razor – and finally rinse off any remaining gel. It does its best service on contours, but it can handle your whole face too.

The slippery layer under the blade is formed by hydroxyethylcellulose, carbomer and polyquaternium-7. Urea, glycerin and panthenol take care of the skin while you shave.
