Kujaku is a Japanese term for peacock. It is a symbol of compassion and benevolence and ensures good health. Blade in Shinogi Zukuri style with a fuller (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from carbon steel 1045. The blade is sharply honed with incorporated hamon for a very authentic appearance. Grip wrapping of black cotton in the classic Hineri Maki style. High-gloss lacquered wooden scabbard. With a long tang, which is secured in the grip by two bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is fully disassemblable.
