During training, on duty or on a hike in the field, a collar has to withstand the pull of a strong dog. At the same time, you need to be able to open it quickly, even when wearing thick gloves. The K9 Thorn 40 mm collar is a new version of a proven collar made of 40 mm wide polyamide webbing. The manufacturer has fitted it with a new Duraflex buckle with a triple safety lock against accidental opening.
Duraflex buckle with three-point fastening
The three-point fastening works as a triple safety lock, so the buckle will not open by itself, neither during a sudden jerk nor in dense undergrowth. The buckle withstands a static load of 80 kg before it breaks. It is light and compact, and you can open it even in thick gloves – something you will appreciate in winter and on duty.
Hook-and-loop panel for the dog's name or an emblem
On the outside of the collar there is a 10 cm long hook-and-loop strip. You can attach a patch with your dog's name or a unit or club emblem to it and swap it at any time. You adjust the circumference with a sliding adjuster and attach the lead to the D-ring.
