On a walk you sometimes want to give your dog more room, other times keep it on a shorter lead – and when you don't need the lead, you'd rather have it slung over your shoulder. The K9 Thorn lead with D-ring handles all three situations thanks to its ITW Nexus D-ring. It is made of 2.1 mm thick polyamide webbing and comes in lengths of 100, 150 and 200 cm.

Shorter or over the shoulder

You can clip the carabiner at the end of the lead into the ITW Nexus D-ring – this shortens the lead, or lets you sling it over your shoulder. The D-ring has no other purpose: if you used it to tie the lead to a post, the seam or the ring itself could be damaged.

Webbing and carabiner with strength to spare

The 2.1 mm thick webbing breaks only at a force of at least 1670 daN. You attach it to the collar with a brass carabiner that is strong, easy to handle and unaffected by frost – it won't freeze up.
