Tablets Micropur MC 1T Katadyn are designed for water disinfection based on silver ions. Silver ions serve for preservation and protect water from potential further contamination. The effectiveness of the tablets is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, after application of silver ions the water is suitable for consumption after 2 hours. Silver ions keep water clean for up to 6 months by settling in the cell walls of microorganisms and preventing their growth.
The tablets do not contain chlorine.
One tablet is suitable for disinfection of 1 litre of water.
The packaging is usable for 10 years from the date of manufacture.

One package contains 100 tablets.
Storage does not require any special conditions - dry and cool.

How and when to use Micropur Classic: Contaminated water is the most common cause of traveller's illnesses. Infectious diseases of the digestive tract (diarrhoea, cholera, typhoid fever, giardiasis, amoebiasis etc.), liver (hepatitis A) etc., are transmitted by microorganisms. They are present everywhere, even in apparently clean, clear and odourless water. Micropur Classic contains stabilised silver ion. In the correct concentration it quickly and effectively eliminates bacteria and algae. Silver ions also protect water from re-contamination for up to 6 months. Limitations: Use only in clean water. Turbid water must first be filtered using a Katadyn portable filtration system. The use of MICROPUR Classic MC 1T is not associated with any health risks and water prepared this way can be used for drinking, washing dishes or personal hygiene. MICROPUR eliminates the risk of infections from water from poorly maintained wells, public water supply networks (hotels and accommodation facilities) or from natural water sources such as springs, mountain streams, etc.
Disinfection of clean water (room temperature): Add 1 tablet of Micropur Classic to 1 L of water, allow to act for 120 minutes before consumption. The effectiveness of Micropur Classic depends on the quality and temperature of the water.
Storage: Store in a dry and dark place in the original packaging.
Warning: Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. If medical attention is required, have the container or product label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Prevent release into the environment. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical attention. Dispose of contents / container in accordance with local regulations.
