Tablets Micropur Forte MC 1T Katadyn are designed for water disinfection on a chlorine basis. The reaction time is 30 minutes for the destruction of bacteria and viruses, 2 hours for Giardia in clean water. The tablets will keep water clean for up to 6 months.
One tablet is suitable for disinfection of 1 litre of water.
The packaging is usable for 5 years from the date of manufacture.

How and when to use Micropur Forte: Contaminated water is the most common cause of traveller's illnesses. Infectious diseases of the digestive tract (diarrhoea, cholera, typhoid fever, giardiasis, amoebiasis etc.), liver (hepatitis A) etc., are transmitted by microorganisms. They are present everywhere, even in apparently clean, clear and odourless water. Micropur Forte contains a combination of stabilised chlorine ion and silver. In the correct concentration, chlorine quickly and effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses and certain microorganisms. Silver ions at the same time protect water from re-contamination for up to 6 months. Limitations: Use only in clean water. Turbid water must first be filtered using a Katadyn portable filtration system.
Disinfection of clean water (room temperature): Add 1 tablet of Micropur Forte to 1 L of water, allow to work for 30 minutes before consumption. The effectiveness of Micropur Forte depends on the quality and temperature of the water. In cold water (<10 °C) and for the destruction of microorganisms such as Giardia, extend the contact time to two hours. Storage: Store in a dry and dark place in the original packaging.
Warning: Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. If medical attention is required, have the container or product label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Prevent release into the environment. IF IN EYES: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical attention. Dispose of contents / container in accordance with local regulations.
