STRONG AND DURABLE The Trident FX is a lightweight tanto knife, designed as a robust fixed blade for the kit of individuals and groups who need to travel over longer distances. Thanks to the sheath, it installs very easily onto your kit and you can have it at hand immediately. COMBINED WITH ACCESSORIES The Trident FX comes with a specially designed sheath compatible with the universal SOG mounting system. This allows customisable adjustment of the sheath for attachment anywhere on your gear, comfortable carry and quick deployment. HIGHLY CAPABLE FULL TANG KNIFE Its reliability is ensured by the full tang blade construction made from Cryo 4116 steel. The GRN handle is finished with an eye that also serves as a breaker, or reinforcement or hammer when you need to strike with the edge of your little finger more forcefully. The handle is well shaped overall and sits comfortably in the hand. Sheath COMPATIBLE WITH UMS The sheath, made from durable nylon reinforced with glass fibres, is equipped with a universal mounting system. The sheath is designed for two-way mounting. From the factory it is fitted with a MOLLE binding system, but other systems can also be attached. CRYO 4116 STEEL Medium-carbon German steel, used mainly for hygienic instruments, in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. In the food industry it is most commonly used for kitchen knives and tools. Similar to 420HC steel. It has relatively good corrosion resistance, toughness and holds an edge relatively well. Blade hardness ranges from 58 - 60 HRC. GRN HANDLES Nylon is a popular material for knife handles for its exceptional strength, resistance to impact damage, chemical inertness and stability at high temperatures. The material is non-toxic, is not volatile (does not undergo chemical reactions) and is harmless to the surrounding environment. All these properties are improved by adding glass fibres to the nylon, creating a new material, glass-reinforced nylon (GRN). GRN handles have a universal texture on their surface that provides a secure grip even when used in gloves or without them and in practically all climatic conditions.
