Hundreds of elves work with Santa Claus at Korvatunturi. Each elf has their own specialities, strengths and roles. Among them are many different professions: carpenters, shoemakers, fine mechanics, painters, weavers, typesetters and many, many others.
The elf who joins the Kupilka on an adventure is Vekara, who is known from the book and film by Mauri Kunnas titled Santa Claus and the Magic Drum.
