LIFESAVER technology is based on a two-stage filtration system:
First, natural water is forced by hand pump through an ultrafiltration unit made of hollow fibres, which removes all bacteria, viruses, microplastics and particles larger than 0.015 µm (micron) = 15 nm nanometres from the water.

WARNING! Competing filtration systems cannot filter particles with a diameter smaller than 0.1 µm (micron), that is 100 nm (nanometres)
The LIFESAVER filter therefore has significantly greater filtration quality and efficiency – the diameter of viral particles in clinically significant viruses ranges from only 16–18 nm (parvoviruses, circoviruses) to 300 nm in poxviruses.
In the second stage, water flows through an activated charcoal filter, which removes chemicals and heavy metals (chlorine, lead, nickel, cadmium and so on), significantly improving its taste and odour.
