Compact, lightweight folding fire steel with a pair of striking rods that guarantee safe and very simple use. The first striking rod is made of ferrocerium, an alloy of cerium, lanthanum and iron. By friction it can create sparks at 2980 °C. The second rod is made of magnesium and when scraped serves as tinder. Flint creates sparks in all weather conditions.
