Each match has a thin layer of wax on its surface that prevents water absorption. If you submerge the match in water after lighting it (heavy rain), the match will reignite by itself when removed (1 s). The pack of wind-resistant matches contains 25 matches in a polycarbonate case with three strikers positioned under the thread and on the sides of the case.
