These are hand measurements — measure your hand, not the glove. A is the length of the middle finger from its base to the tip, B is the width of the palm below the fingers, without the thumb. Dimensions are in centimetres. If you are between two sizes, the manufacturer recommends the smaller one for a snug fit.

Combined work leather gloves Mechanix Durahide Original are ideal for material handling, home work, construction and carpentry.
These Mechanix Durahide Original gloves combine robust construction with high wear resistance. Their flexible thermoplastic rubber closure ensures secure grip at the wrist, whilst the close-fitting TrekDry® material on the back of the hand prevents heat build-up and perspiration, which increases comfort during work. Double-stitched thumb and index finger sections provide enhanced wear resistance, whilst reinforced construction at the fingertips increases their strength. The gloves feature durable DuraHide™ leather on the fingers and DuraHide™ leather palm, which provides extreme abrasion resistance. Additionally, these gloves are machine washable, which simplifies their maintenance.

Standards and certification
The manufacturer states the following for this model:
- EN 388:2016 – 3122X – protection against mechanical risks
- ANSI/ISEA 105 – A1 – cut resistance
- ANSI/ISEA 105 – abrasion 5 – abrasion resistance
- ANSI/ISEA 105 – puncture 4 – puncture resistance
The cut resistance level tells you how much force a blade must exert to cut through the material in a single stroke. It does not mean the glove cannot be cut — it means it withstands normal contact with a sharp edge and gives you time to pull your hand away.
Resistance to a knife stab is not measured in these tests and the gloves are not intended for it.
