Magazine pouch with MOLLE attachment. The top of the pouch is fitted with an elastic band for better magazine retention. The pouch features hook-and-loop fastening.

Suitable for shorter magazine types for assault rifles. When the top section is folded into the pouch, it can also accommodate longer magazines for AK74 (5.45 calibre) and M16/M4 (5.56 calibre) and their variants in the same calibre.

What is the MOLLE system?

The MOLLE system is a load-bearing attachment system consisting of horizontal webbing 2.54 cm (1 inch) wide nylon straps with vertical spacing of 2.54 cm. The straps are sewn to the base fabric (for example on a vest or rucksack) at intervals of 3.81 cm (1.5 inches). This creates a virtual grid (ladder) with 3.81 cm wide 'slots' into which 2.54 cm wide strips (pouches) are woven – like weaving a basket. This system was patented in 1998 by the armed forces of the USA. The MOLLE system is today the most widely used attachment system in the world.
