Rip-Stop poncho from manufacturer MFH universal size 223cm x 144cm with surface treatment of material 100% Polyamide + Rip-Stop treatment. The poncho includes a hood with drawcord for fastening around the neck. Seams are sewn and covered, which prevents 100% water penetration through the seams. The poncho serves not only as protection from rain, but also against mechanical impacts such as scratches from branches or as protection against soiling.

What is Rip-Stop?
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, manufactured using a special technique. Thicker threads are woven into thin textile at intervals of 5–8mm. The advantages of ripstop fabrics lie in the very good ratio of weight to stability and in high tear strength.
Ripstop is used for hot air balloons, parachutes, boat sails, tents, rucksacks and sports clothing.
All camouflage clothing of the American Army is currently made from so-called ripstop poplin (50% polyamide and 50% cotton).
Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War.
