The CT 590 S frequency bands are VHF 144-146 MHz and UHF 430-440 MHz and it has 128 channels. CT590 S is Midland's new dual-band radio. CT590 S is easy to use, ideal for those who need a "basic" device, but at the same time with multiple functions and features that should be complete. Robustness and reliability are guaranteed by the aluminium chassis.

CT590 S operates in the frequency bands 144-146 MHz and UHF 430-440 MHz VHF and has 128 programmable channels. High power output guarantees excellent communication even over long distances, and thanks to the 1750 Hz tone for access to repeater bridges. CT590 S has a torch, FM radio receiver 87.5-108MHz and 50 CTCSS tones and 208 DCS codes, which allow you to create "sub-channels" for communication with a small group of people. CT590 S also allows you to customise your ID (ANI-ID) and have the option to transmit it during transmission (PTT-ID). The LCD display has 3 different backlight colours to choose from, which can be assigned to the respective use (reception, transmission, etc.).

The transceiver can be programmed using the optional PRG-10 software, which allows you to set and customise several functions, such as the number of channels, frequency, etc.
