This Mizuno kimono is designed directly in Osaka, Japan. It is IJF approved, as confirmed by the red patch. The material is quality, comfortable and does not restrict free movement. It meets all competition requirements, including extended sleeves. This is a kimono designed for top-level athletes, featuring double-stitched knees, reinforced shoulders, chest and lapels. The trousers can be tightened with a drawcord. Wash according to instructions; however, the manufacturer states a 7% shrinkage rate.

The kimono is supplied without a belt. Fabric weight is 750 grams per square metre.
