The classic Bowie returns to the working and combat knives from the legendary Wild West era around 1800. The name comes from James Bowie, a pioneer and soldier in Texas. He made this knife shape famous. Typical characteristics are a blade shaped like a duck's back and a strong guard, often in the shape of the letter S. The blade of stainless molybdenum-vanadium steel passes as a round tang to the end of the handle and is screwed in place there. The handle is made of Pakka wood and has pronounced finger grooves for a good grip; the guard and end cap are made of brass. Comes with a quality leather sheath.
