A typical Bowie knife originates from working and combat knives from the legendary Wild West era around 1800. The name comes from James Bowie, a pioneer and soldier in Texas, who made this knife shape famous. Typical characteristics are a blade shaped like a duck's back and a strong guard, often in the shape of the letter S. The blade made from stainless molybdenum-vanadium steel runs to the end of the handle as a round tang and is screwed in place there. The handle scales are made from Pakka wood and feature pronounced finger grooves that ensure a good grip. The guard and pommel are made from brass. Comes with a quality leather sheath.
