Naniwa is a renowned Japanese manufacturer of sharpening stones based in Osaka, which can boast extensive experience, as production began in the 1940s. Their sharpening stones are considered world-class in quality. With the exception of the Multi Stone series, they are manufactured directly in Japan, where they undergo strict quality controls. They are characterised by high hardness, which guarantees them a long lifespan and minimal wear, whilst their exceptional sharpening properties are valued not only by amateurs but also by professional knife sharpeners worldwide.
A combination water sharpening stone with grit 220 and 1000 is ideal for achieving an optimally sharp knife. Grit 220 is used for coarse sharpening of severely dulled blades, whilst grit 1000 is suitable for fine sharpening and maintaining the edge. The stone is designed for use with water, and should be soaked for approximately 10 minutes before sharpening.
The Naniwa Multi Stone series offers excellent value for money as well as a long lifespan. These stones are manufactured in Vietnam under the supervision of Japanese experts, which guarantees a high standard whilst maintaining an affordable price.

Use:
When sharpening a knife, perform gentle strokes against the edge. A few strokes from each side are sufficient for quality sharpening. Before use, soak the stone for at least 10 minutes in water.

Wash the stone in lukewarm water.
