The new TA30C model from NEXTORCH delivers an uncompromisingly simple and secure control concept that is patented. It is equipped with a ring switch and instant light that illuminates only when pressed. Thanks to a strobe flash with high thumb pressure, even greater effectiveness can be achieved.

One of the new features of the TA30C is a ring switch that allows you to dim the light and use it, for example, as a reading light. Compared to the previous model, the light output has been increased to a genuine 1,600 lumens ANSI, which guarantees high illumination intensity. At the highest brightness level, the torch has an impressive runtime of 2.5 hours, whilst at the lowest level it can shine for up to 50 hours on a single battery charge.

An advantage of the new TA30C model is the presence of a USB-C charging port on the 18650 battery. This port enables fast charging and simplifies the process without the need for a special charger. Simply use a standard mobile phone charger, power bank or USB port in a car. The battery is also equipped with an LED that signals when it is fully charged.

In terms of user requirements, a battery status indicator has been added to the TA30C model. A faint blue ring in the rear switch illuminates when the ring switch is pressed and provides reliable information about the battery status. This improvement was developed based on the experience and requirements of special units.

In addition, the lens crown of the TA30C has been modified to meet the requirements of emergency services. It is now made from high-strength, matt titanium, which ensures lower reflectivity and thereby minimises the possibility of detection by a third party.

Another optimisation is a change in the strobe flash frequency of the TA30C. Instead of flashing at only one frequency, the TA30C changes the flash frequency when activated. As many experiments convincingly demonstrate, the desired disorientation effect on a third party is significantly enhanced by the changing flash frequency. This condition occurs in attackers almost immediately, as the rapid sequence of chiaroscuro overwhelms the human brain. This applies especially to offenders who are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, as numerous incident reports show.
