How to apply

For best results, always clean the outer surface of the jacket using ^Nikwax® Tech ^Wash® (only if the care label permits) with a damp cloth, or rinse under running water and use a sponge to remove surface dirt. Shake well before use. Follow the instructions on the care label.

Application (wear gloves):

1. Protect your work surface and lay the wet jacket flat on a clean, level surface.
2. Spray ^Nikwax® Wax Cotton ^Proof™ generously onto the outer surface.
3. Spread evenly with a damp sponge or clean cloth and work it evenly into the fabric.
4. Carefully check that you have not missed any areas.

Drying: Hang to air dry. Wipe away any drips or runs. Adjust any areas you may have missed.

When to use this product

Always apply this product to used waxed cotton clothing to keep items in a water-repellent condition. Hang to dry and adjust any areas you may have missed. To maintain the performance of waterproof garments, check the care label and clean it with Nikwax Tech Wash to remove everyday dirt and soiling.
