Below are several useful tips on how to use the trail camera to achieve the best results

• Mount the camera approximately 1.5 to 2 m (5 to 6 feet) high with the camera pointed slightly downwards.
• Mount the camera to monitor the trail facing north or south, not east or west, as the rising and setting sun can cause false triggers and overexposed images.
• If you are covering a path, point the camera downwards or upwards along the path.
• Remove all brush or weeds in front of the camera on the trail. These can cause false triggers caused by temperature and motion disturbances in front of the camera (especially on windy days).
