French Opinel folding knives are a time-tested classic. The first Opinel folding knife was made in 1890 and since then these folding knives have been renowned for their reliability, lasting sharpness, versatility and traditional – unmistakable shape and design. Hand-sharpened blade made from high-quality Swedish steel, quality and heavily lacquered durable wooden handle carved from a single piece of wood.
Polished stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion thanks to chromium's anti-corrosive properties and practically maintenance-free with excellent lasting sharpness.
The handle is made from a single piece of walnut wood and is heavily lacquered for increased durability.
The knife is equipped with a patented ViroBlock safety catch – not only against blade closure, but also against its opening.
