It is entirely made from cast iron and is very robust. A pot for fire, which derives its name from "Grapen" (English "Pipkin") and became generally known as a Dutch oven, is ideal for cooking outdoors. It can be placed directly in an open fire. This pot is characterised by excellent heat conduction and its long-term heat retention, as well as exceptional robustness. Its use is very versatile. You can cook, braise, bake, fry and even roast in it. Thanks to a thermometer hole, a thermometer can be easily inserted into the pot and the temperature inside checked at any time. The lid of the fire pot can also be used as a serving plate or frying pan. Thanks to the pre-seasoned surface, you can use the fire pot immediately.
