The compact lightweight GLACIER 60 cm ice axe from Petzl is designed for classic alpinism and glacier touring. The tip is made from forged stainless steel of high quality, which is fitted with teeth and a spike 3 mm thick that widens towards the head. The shape of the tip allows for a secure and stable placement. The lower end of the shaft is fitted with a forged stainless steel spike, which facilitates penetration into hard snow.
