But not just for them did we develop the Expert. It is a synthetic winter sleeping bag designed for very cold weather, so it will not let you down, whether you are conquering high mountains or escaping civilisation in January. Because we know that your feet are the first to get cold, we have adjusted the construction of the Expert sleeping bag so that the zip is shortened and ends approximately halfway up the thigh, which allowed us to incorporate more insulation into the side panel instead of the zip.

The three-layer BHB Micro insulation construction will guarantee you warmth and comfort in all circumstances whilst also offering very pleasant weight and packability, which is enhanced by the included compression bag.

To prevent getting cold

Because we know that cold is the number one enemy of sleep, we fight it with every possible means. The zip is of course two-way and can be fastened from inside and outside, and it also has a flap on the inside that effectively prevents air from penetrating. It is also padded, so any leakage at the zip would not wake even the princess and the pea. Right behind the head opening there is a shoulder collar. When pulled tight, it keeps warmth inside the sleeping bag very well and also prevents moisture from the user's breath from escaping.

It may seem like a trivial thing, but who among us would think of taking clothing pegs into the wilderness? That is why we have equipped our sleeping bags with two attachment loops for easier hanging and faster drying.

Singles and couples

Thanks to the placement of the zip on the left or right side, it is possible to join two Experts together, which will be appreciated especially by couples in love. This function also significantly increases thermal comfort.

Three-layer shingle thermal insulation BHB Micro

Three-layer shingle thermal insulation is a combination of two continuous layers of fleece and overlapping shingles between them. This achieves an effect where part of the sleeping bag has three layers and part effectively has four - these parts alternate, which contributes to more efficient loft, and thus increases the insulation properties of the sleeping bag.
